The AirPlay 2 made an appearance in iOS 11.2, but again it was more of a placeholder for the upcoming feature. 2022 has seen that phase end. Within two days and two launches, OnePlus and Xiaomi have both got into each other’s zones of strength, each trying to rattle the other’s cage and grab a share of their market. It is no longer the odd clash over a flagship (such as the Redmi K20 or the Poco F1 against the-then OnePlus flagship) but to use a dramatic term, war on multiple fronts....

The operating system is called Remix OS on Mobile (ROM), and it comes with “Remix Singularity” which is what drives the dockable connection. The concept is nothing different than what others have been doing – you connect your phone to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse via a dock, and use Android as a complete desktop OS with apps like Google Docs or Clash of Clans running in floating windows, taskbars, and whatnot....

The Jio’s feature phone will come equipped with a 2.4-inch display, and Reliance Retail has apparently partnered with both Qualcomm and Spreadtrum for its chipsets. Furthermore, Reliance is expected to launch two handsets both of which will be paired with the 512MB RAM and on the storage front, it will offer 4GB of internal memory along with a slot for microSD card. The imaging arrangements on the feature phone will be bare basics and include a 2-Megapixel sensor on both the sides....

Let’s begin with the looks as that’s what most people are going to notice first when you have the speaker lying on your table. The first time I unboxed the speaker, I instantly saw a close resemblance to Apple’s HomePod. Not as big, of course, and not as premium but there’s no denying that the Mivi Octave is a looker. There’s fabric all over the cylindrical surface and a soft matt plastic layer on the top and bottom....

Right off the bat, the e5 Plus does indeed look good. The display up front is now an 18:9 panel and the bezels appear to be pretty slim, except for the chin which has a prominent branding reminding you that you’re using a Motorola device each time you look at your phone. We wish they instead made the bottom symmetric with the top which would give the device a much sleeker look....
